Thanks to everyone who attended SAJA’s 15th anniversary convention, July 10-11 in New York City.

We had an amazing line-up of speakers. New media guru Jeff Jarvis delivered the opening keynote speech, urging us to look for new ways of delivering news. While closing night keynote speaker Reza Aslan also spoke about the importance of new media in bringing attention to worldwide events such as the recent elections in Iran, he urged traditional media to work harder in bringing the news to the homes of the masses.
