Editorial Producer is responsible for booking guests for a new Washington -based political show. Responsible for major news pitches and newsmaker requests. This individual is the show's booking representative and is responsible for constantly upgrading the quantity and quality of bookings for this top political show, responding to news in an aggressive and responsible manner, communicating with Sr. Editorial Producer and show Producers. Line Producers: The producer will maintain the daily rundown and make changes in the control room throughout the live program. The producer will also produce taped elements included opens, teases and set up packages. Must be able to supervise the editing of multiple video and graphic elements, be familiar with a control room environment, and be able to code and playback video live during the show. Must exhibit editorial and control room ability, plus the ability to respond well to breaking news and last-minute changes.
