PRODUCER: TRIBECA, NY. This is a rare opportunity to join the Clear Channel Media & Entertainment group as a new Producer for WOR 710AM. This position is based in Tribeca, New York.Responsibilities (but not limited to): You will be responsible for securing guests to appear on the radio program on an everyday basis, regularly scheduling multiple guests with prior approval of the host. You'll be assigned the tasks of preliminary and final research information needed for the program, prior to the scheduled appearance of the guests. You'll need to be confident, knowledgeable about the radio industry itself. Must have good writing skills and have the ability to develop great relationships and contacts. Excellent judgment in prioritizing multiple stories and meeting deadlines. Knowledge of current events and key local news figures Demonstrate organizational skills and must be flexible to multi-task, shift focus, and re-prioritize as the situation dictates. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and have demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and to make independent decisions.
