SAJA will be hosting it's second Iftar (breaking of the fast) on June 24th at 7:30 p.m. at the Manhattan Penthouse, off 5th Ave.

We will be joined by filmmaker, Habiba Nosheen who will be showing clips from her Emmy winning documentary, Outlawed in Pakistan.” 

The film was shot over five years and follows a rape case from the perspective of a Pakistani teenager and her alleged rapists as both sides fight to win. The film had its television debut on PBS FRONTLINE. Habiba was honored with an Emmy award and The Overseas Press Club Award.

She works for CBS News - 60 Minutes.

Break bread, network, and connect with other journalists, producers, writers, and correspondents from various parts of the media world.

Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and come early to take photos of the great views of the New York City skyline.
