We have opened the recruitments for General Assignment Reporter and Speak City Heights Reporter.

The General Assignment Reporter will be responsible for covering a wide range of stories. Monday might be a COVID story. Tuesday, they might cover some aspect of drought response. Wednesday, it might be a story about someone illegally painting red curbs on a La Jolla street! The Speak City Heights Reporter will be part of an ongoing project focused on this diverse San Diego community with a large population of immigrants and refugees. The Speak City Heights project has a special emphasis on four areas: immigration, affordable housing, transportation, Census 2020; and for 2021 will include some coverage in San Diego's South Bay area.
