The Telegram & Gazette, Central Massachusetts' leading news source, has an opening for a reporter. The ideal applicant is expected to break news, develop sources and generate daily story ideas. We are looking for an intelligent, energetic self-starter with broad interests. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to report and write quickly and accurately for online, and add depth and breadth for daily print. Candidates must have strong social media skills and the ability to engage the reader on multiple platforms. A minimum of two years daily newspaper experience is required as is a college degree, preferably in journalism. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
