The Search Committee of New York University's Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute is currently welcoming applications for an Assistant Professor position. A pioneering leader in developing advanced forms of journalism education, the Institute is housed within the distinguished Faculty of Arts and Science at NYU and occupies spacious, state-of-the-art facilities centrally located in the heart of NYU and downtown Manhattan.

The Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, pending budgetary and administrative approval. The Department seeks an accomplished, innovative, and extensively published journalist or educator with considerable professional experience. Teaching experience is desirable. An MA or PhD is helpful but not required. The Institute has particular interest in candidates with a background in investigative reporting, global affairs, and data and digital journalism.
