WNYC, the nation’s largest public radio station and an innovator in news and digital media, is seeking an accomplished journalist to host its local edition of “All Things Considered,” public radio’s afternoon news magazine. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced reporter and host with impeccable news judgment who is deeply curious about life in the New York/New Jersey region and well grounded in national and international events. The host will have undertaken enterprising reporting projects, authoritatively anchored breaking news, conducted news-making interviews and engaged audiences in informed conversation on broadcast and social-media platforms. 
In addition to being the leading local voice of All Things Considered, the host will leave the studio to report from important scenes and events and will contribute original reporting. The host will engage closely with editors, reporters and producers in the WNYC Newsroom, helping drive the news agenda. 
The host reports to the Producer, All Things Considered.
