    PBS NewsHour is seeking an enthusiastic individual responsible for public relations, outreach, promotion, and branding related to the PBS NewsHour. Primary responsibilities include developing and executing outreach, publicity and promotion to build awareness, and creating effective ways to promote the PBS NewsHour brand, correspondents and content to a community of online users. Additionally, this individual will create and maintain lists of key influencers, bloggers, reporters and independent content creators, create a variety of events including live chats on Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms, and help write and/or edit press releases. College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two (2) years experience working in broadcast journalism, preferably for a national outlet.
