BerlinRosen, a leading national progressive political consulting and strategic communications firm, is seeking an Account Associate to work on our growing team. The Account Associate will help our issue advocacy clients meet a wide range of campaign and communications goals in a changing media environment.

This position requires 2-4 years of experience in strategic communications, media relations and campaigns and is located in our New York City office. Excellent writing skills are a must.

Applicants should possess:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong news sense and knowledge of the media
• Experience with media relations
• Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
• Bachelor's degree or experience in a communications-related field
• Familiarity with social media
• Familiarity with and interest in local, state, and national politics and a commitment and passion for progressive politics
• A sense of humor!
