Production Assistant, Graphics & Research

PBS NewsHour is seeking a Production Assistant, Graphics & Research who’s responsible for providing a diverse range of graphics and research support services to support broadcast and digital platforms for the PBS NewsHour,which may include writing, research, editing, and production. This individual is responsible coordinating and managing the preparation of graphics and news material, as well as researching and fulfilling video requests for PBS NewsHour producers. College degree in journalism, communications, political science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Introductory experience with broadcast and online journalism, including writing, editing, and shooting preferred. Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer is desirable.
