    Digital Producer, ‘Race Matters’ and Education

    Arlington, VA

    PBS NewsHour is seeking a Digital Producer, Race Matters and Education who will serve as an integral member of the PBS NewsHour’s online team focusing on two critical growing vertical areas: Race Matters, an ongoing series about race in America, and education coverage that spans early education, K-12 and higher education. This Producer will liaise with the Race Matters, Education, and other teams as assigned, to produce content primarily for these growing vertical areas and to drive digital audience growth and reach. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two (2) years experience working in online journalism, preferably for a national outlet.

    Funding for this position is provided by annual grants. This position is funded for one (1) year, at which time the grant will be re-evaluated to determine if funding will continue.
