Managing Editor, Digital

PBS NewsHour is seeking a Managing Editor, Digital who will chart editorial strategy for PBS NewsHour’s mobile and digital platforms, drive and manage editorial content, supervise online editorial staff, and work closely with the Creative Director, as well as others in the newsroom, with the shared goal of growing the NewsHour’s digital audience and reach. Additionally, this individual will supervise a growing team of digital editorial contributors, some with a wide range of expertise and topic concentrations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five (5) years experience working in online journalism, preferably for a national news outlet.
