Senior Producer, Foreign Affairs

PBS NewsHour is seeking an innovative Senior Producer who’s responsible for leading the planning and production at the PBS NewsHour for all foreign coverage on the broadcast and digital platforms, and participates in senior level strategic planning for the growth and expansion of the program and its audience.  Working closely with a team of staff and freelance contributors, the Senior Producer will plan and execute coverage of the major foreign news stories of the day and plan for features, major events coverage and special projects. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Minimum five (5) years experience in broadcast and/or digital journalism, to include high quality video production. Experience covering foreign affairs for a major publication, or digital or television outlet is desirable.
