Producer and Manager, STEM Reporting Program

PBS NewsHour has an exciting opportunity for a STEM Reporting Program Producer and Manager. This position is part of a new, four-year National Science Foundation funded initiative to build STEM awareness. This Producer and Manager will be responsible for overseeing shares segment and STEM reporting program, as well as supervising approximately three (3) employees. Additionally, this individual will work in close collaboration with science and online teams to tell STEM stories in creative ways using various social media platforms. College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of four (4) years experience working in journalism, preferably for a national outlet.
