BerlinRosen, a leading strategic communications firm, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to work primarily with non-profit and advocacy clients on our New York team.

The position is ideal for a great strategist, writer and publicist with 4-6 years of relevant experience who is passionate about bringing difficult and often overlooked issues into the mainstream.

A little about us: We’re strategists, collaborators, and hustlers. We care deeply about our client’s issues, and everyday we tell their stories in a way that persuades and moves, and then we work to develop messaging, talking points, and briefing materials to tell it with impact.

A little about our clients: We represent many of New York’s leading developers, advocacy organizations, institutions and business innovators. We’re currently hiring for our growing non-profit and advocacy practice, which focuses on promoting the innovative work of major NYC hospitals, colleges, libraries, museums, and social justice organizations, and the experts who run them.

Applicants should possess:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong news sense and knowledge of the media
• Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in a communications-related field
• Familiarity with social media
• Familiarity with and interest in local, state, and national politics and a commitment to and passion for supporting the city’s leading non-profit institutions
• A sense of humor!
