Producer, Student Reporting Labs

    Student Reporting Labs (SRL), the national youth journalism program that connects classrooms and afterschool programs to local PBS stations and the PBS NewsHour, seeks a Producer to oversee production of Student Reporting Labs video and digital content for NewsHour broadcast and digital platforms.

    The Producer will work a portfolio of schools within in the program to ensure the highest technical and editorial quality by setting and enforcing standards and managing SRL video workflow. Additional responsibilities include developing strategies and workflows, generating story ideas, editing, timely communication with teachers and students and participation in special events. College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 4 years professional experience shooting, editing and producing video content for a media outlet.
