PBS NewsHour is hiring a Senior Director, Digital Strategy who will be responsible for developing and coordinating vision and strategies to expand PBS NewsHour’s digital reach and maximizing efficiencies. In coordination with the senior leadership team, the Senior Director will play a critical role in guiding innovation, sustaining excellence and nurturing growth. Key responsibilities include partnering with editorial, product and broadcast leadership on all manners of digital content strategy and development, content gap analyses and innovation and execution, identifying and innovating opportunities for digital growth and expansion while maximizing efficiencies in workflow, developing and managing strategies for applying analytics to content strategy decisions, participating with senior leadership in creating product roadmap and prioritization, in coordination with senior leadership team, to match strategic initiatives and performing related special projects or other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field and ten (10) or more years’ experience in product development/management designing, developing and deploying digital products or equivalent combination of education and experience.
