PBS NewsHour has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer who will work with the digital team to design, build and test PBS NewsHour online products and services. Key responsibilities include collaborating with team of designers, developers and editors to create responsive WordPress themes, plugins and new CMS features, assisting the digital team with management of high traffic WordPress instances, helping to develop MVC-based web applications and REST APIs from the ground-up and helping to perform QA for PBS NewsHour products and content. College degree in computer programming or related field and minimum 3 years’ experience as a web developer or equivalent combination of education and experience.
