WISC-TV, Southern Wisconsin’s number one news station in Madison, is looking for an enterprising general assignment television news reporter with the ability to tell compelling stories.  Duties include turning stories on a daily basis, live reporting, and covering breaking news situations.  We are looking for a creative storyteller who has the ability to find enterprise stories and deliver them to multiple platforms. In addition to our television newscasts, we place a strong emphasis on our award-winning website, htpp://www.channel3000.com our social networking efforts, 16 area community websites and our growing mobile digital content. We expect this position to provide on-going content contributions to all offerings. 

This position requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record and could involve weekend and evening hours. Candidates for consideration will have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field, hard news experience, 1-2 years news reporting, the ability to turn stories on deadline, and live reporting experience.  Photography or prior anchoring experience is a plus.
