Fox News is looking for an aggressive, pro-active, creative producer to join our White House unit.  Producers for the Fox News White House unit work hand-in-hand with correspondents covering White House events and issues, generating story ideas, setting up interviews, and gathering information. Producers are responsible for producing live shots for daytime programming and packages for news programs. Producers are also expected to develop stories and write copy for Foxnews.com. Producers must be able to deliver a quality product in a fast paced 24-hour news environment. Candidates must be able to work well under pressure, possess strong communication skills and work well in a team environment as well as independently. White House producer candidates must be willing to travel, often on short notice, and to work various shifts and long hours.Requirements: Bachelors degree and 5+ years of broadcast news experience. Strong editorial judgment and strong logistical skills. Knowledge of and experience in covering national politics. The ability to work well in a fast-paced and intense atmosphere. Familiarity with iNews. Understanding of tapeless workflow in a newsroom. Strong writing skills - for broadcast and the internet. Flexibility to work various shifts, long hours and travel. Motivated, self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a necessity.
