POLITICO is looking for a smart, fast web editor to help run our site. The ideal candidate will have experience editing political coverage, ideally in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to write headlines, move copy and make decisions under tight deadlines. In addition to helping run the site’s day-to-day operations, the web editor will assist on a variety of web-related projects, including new products and special coverage.

Qualifications

Candidates must have demonstrated ability to edit thoroughly, accurately and quickly under deadline pressure. This is an ideal job for an editor who thrives in a dynamic environment and quarterbacking breaking news.
