FREELANCE PRODUCER/SHOOTER/EDITORS/VIDEO JOURNALISTS: NYC. MSNBC.com is looking for freelance producer/shooter/editors or video journalists to help produce news and documentary packages. The producer/shooter/editors must have 3+ years of journalism experience, must be able to produce packages start-to-finish on their own, and on deadline. They must be able to show examples of their work for major news outlets and place a premium on strong visuals or cinematic journalism. The successful candidates will own their own equipment, shooting with DSLRs or on a large format sensor cameras with interchangeable lenses (for example Canon C100 or C300).
