LINE PRODUCER: NYC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prior television experience line/control room producing, writing, copy editing, producing segments, editing packages, researching and booking high profile guests for a live talk show. A successful candidate will be a leader: an aggressive, self-starter who can interact with high profile talent and guests.  Also required: great communication skills, attention to detail, creative and "out of the box" thinking, someone who can multi-task, has a terrific attitude, and works well with a team. Duties include but not limited to:  line producing - stacking a show, assigning stories, timing a show, writing breaking news, and copy editing. They also include booking guests, producing segments, generating compelling, topical/water cooler story ideas, editing packages, producing reporter hits, in-depth research, producing graphics, writing for the web, and pitching stories. Requirements:- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of broadcast experience- Strong editorial judgment as well as strong logistical skills- This position requires working both weekend and weekday overnight hours.- The ability to work well in a fast paced and intense atmosphere
