Newsday.com is looking for an experienced Web producer to help us grow the local sections of our website in the competitive New York metro-area market. This position requires significant Web and newsroom experience, strong news judgment, an interest in mobile news and organizational skills. The position requires working on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities include: Running the homepage of newsday.com, section fronts and our mobile platform on a day-to-day basis with breaking news and other programming; working with editors, reporters, developers and designers on special projects; using metrics to inform programming decisions and help improve projects; assigning and overseeing the work of assistant Internet news managers and interns.
