PBS NewsHour is seeking an Associate Web Producer who will develop digital content and resources designed to build student understanding and engagement with current events and issues.  Primary responsibilities include working with education team and PBS Learning Media to write and post current events resources (lesson plans, informational text and discussion questions, etc.) for teachers, creating strategies and content that extend PBS NewsHour stories to school-aged audiences, and visiting local classrooms to lead current events activities.  College degree and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in digital media, web or education resource development required.
