Australian-based company HealthLogix has exiting opportunities for health journalists based across the Asia Pacific.

We need short feature articles on different health and wellness topics localised to 12 Asia-Pacific countries, per month. Applicants can nominate to write articles for on one or more of these countries.

In each case, the language of the starting text is to be English. Depending on the target audience, some articles are to be translated. The target audiences and the corresponding languages of the final texts are:

• ·         Hong Kong – Traditional Chinese
• ·         China – Simplified Chinese
• ·         Taiwan – Traditional Chinese
• ·         Japan – Japanese
• ·         South Korea – Korean
• ·         Malaysia – Malay
• ·         Indonesia – Indonesian
• ·         Thailand – Thai
• ·         Vietnam – Vietnamese
• ·         Philippines – English
• ·         Singapore – English
• ·         India – English.

The ability to translate into more than one of the specified languages is ideal but not essential.

Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in journalism and previous work experience are required.
