Campaign & Creative Services Internship Program

BerlinRosen Public Affairs, a leading national public affairs and political consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated college student or recent graduate who is interested in getting hands-on experience in political consulting by providing full-time support to BerlinRosen’s Campaign & Creative Services department, working with our political, advocacy, philanthropic, and labor clients on direct mail, radio, TV and online programs. The position is based in New York City.

The spring internship program runs from the beginning of January through the end of May 2016.

Campaign & Creative Services at BerlinRosen

From distinctive logos and visual identity materials to captivating direct mail, radio and TV advertising, BerlinRosen creative carries clients’ ideas farther than words alone. Our work has won numerous Pollie and Reed Awards—and has even been covered on the editorial page of The New York Times. We’ve stocked our political toolboxes through years of campaigning and we know how to custom-build victories—whether at the ballot box, in the legislature or in the court of public opinion.

Intern applicants should possess one of two, if not both, core skill sets:

    • Strong quantitative abilities: facility with data and analytics; an aptitude for digesting large spreadsheets of data and making tactical and strategic recommendations
    • Exceptional creative & writing skills: the ability to turn abstract concepts into creative ideas and convey information in writing that is both stylistically and technically excellent

All applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

    • Interest in news, politics and key legislative issues
    • Diligent work ethic
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities
    • Quickness in learning how to use new computer programs and applications and overall comfort with technology
    • The ability to adapt to new circumstances and problem-solve rapidly
    • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced office environment
    • Willingness to hustle and pitch in anywhere necessary
