Media Ingest Coordinator

Arlington, VA

PBS NewsHour is seeking a Media Ingest Coordinator who will oversee the ingest component of the Avid media asset management system and can troubleshoot system issues with producers, and optimize use of the media asset operations.  The coordinator will train and assist the editorial staff in the implementation of ingest best practices and use of the Media Asset Management system. The coordinator will interface with the Manager, Media Assets and the Engineering Department. College degree or equivalent combination of experience in television production, broadcast communications or related field. Minimum two (2) years progressively responsible production experience in broadcast television and/or media production as it specifically relates to media asset management and digital/video ingest.
