MUST BE FLUENT IN ARABIC. It would be a huge plus if the applicant was also knowledgeable about Islam, either by study or practice. Must be highly organized. A working knowledge of Final Draft screenwriting program is important.

This Writers' Assistant's job entails being in the room as the staff writers flesh out the story for each episode, writing up detailed index cards for each scene, keeping track of outlines as they are submitted, and, in the particular case of this show, footnoting the source material for each piece of information, character and scene. We'll be drawing from a great many sources (books, documentaries, available government documents.) 

This assistant will also help in translating English dialogue into colloquial Arabic.
