PBS NewsHour is seeking a Digital Associate Producer, General Assignment who will serve as an integral member of the PBS NewsHour’s online unit, covering a broad range of topics. The Associate Producer will manage online coverage, while working closely with the broadcast team. Key responsibilities include producing daily reporting for the PBS NewsHour online platforms, research, pitching and producing regular long form projects, writing and producing engaging content for PBS NewsHour social media platforms and performing related special projects or other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree and two (2) or more years’ experience in journalism, preferably for a major publication, digital, or television organization or equivalent combination of education and experience.
