    PBS NewsHour has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Senior Editor to chart editorial strategy for PBS NewsHour’s mobile and digital platforms, drive and manage editorial content, supervise online editorial staff, and work closely with the Director, Digital, as well as others in the newsroom, with the shared goal of growing the NewsHour’s digital audience and reach. Among other duties, the Digital Senior Editor will oversee reporting for PBS.org/NewsHour and its associated digital platforms, supervise a growing team of digital editorial contributors, oversee creation of compelling digital content in coordination with colleagues in product development, data producing, graphics and other areas. Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field and a minimum (8) years’ experience working in online journalism, preferably for a national news outlet with at least four (4) years in a supervisory role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
