Membership in SAJA is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to support SAJA. You don't have to be South Asian or a journalist to join!

SAJA’s membership fees remain very low compared to most other national journalism organizations.

In this section, you will find complete details on membership fees and answers to other frequently asked questions (FAQ).

SAJA offers three levels of membership:

  • Full membership: If you are a journalist resident in North America or working for a North American journalism organization.
  • Student membership: If you are attending higher-education institutions or high schools in North America.
  • Associate membership: All other individuals, including non-journalists in North America and journalists living abroad. 
All memberships are subject to the approval of the membership committee.

Just $20 a year (Student membership), $40 a year (Full or Associate membership) or $300 Life Membership (Full or Associate), you can become part of the network of hundreds of members across the US and Canada who contribute financially and in many other ways in carrying out SAJA’s programs.
