Interns are responsible for processing AFP stories for web clients, including prioritizing stories and choosing photos, videos and graphics. Interns work directly with full-time editors and get real-world news experience.

This position requires 20 hours of work per week, including evenings and weekends for a stipend of $600.

We ask interns to commit until the end of December. This is not a reporting internship, although interns are encouraged to pursue stories of interest to them. The right candidate would have a proven global outlook and genuine intellectual curiosity. French is not required.
