FREELANCE DIGITAL/PRODUCER/ON-AIR HOST: NYC. Time Inc seeks seeks a New York freelance digital producer/on-air host who can initiate, manage and present newsroom-based shoots for our entertainment-focusedsites as we aggressively expand our storytelling in video.  The ideal candidate is not only technically savvy but can translate text-based stories into engaging video news reports.  He or she is a self-starter who can identify stand-alone and contextual video opportunities and see them through from concept to execution.   Must be able to appear on camera and write own copy with a distinct tone and POV.  Those that aren't invigorated by a fast-paced, creative workflow needn't apply.  You are: A hybrid producer-storyteller: You've been in a newsroom when a story breaks and you have to write copy on deadline.  And, at the same time, you think beyond the top line facts in order to create additional segments that explore trends or present content in new ways.  You bring the energy of a performer to anything you do. A digital storyteller: You're intimately familiar with the technicalities of creating digital content. You know how to write, shoot, edit and repeat. You're technically facile and able to manage quantity versus quality as we think about the nature of modern, shareable content.   

Proven: This isn't your first time working with digital video. You have a record of creating original short form fact-based videos, and a mastery of editing platforms, including Adobe Premiere.  Culture-driven: This isn't a just a job to you.
