GRAPHIC DESGNER

BerlinRosen, a leading national progressive political consulting and strategic communications firm, is seeking a Graphic Designer with up to 2 years’ experience to work on our Creative Services team in NYC.

We are looking to hire a talented designer with natural talent and an interest in learning about our industry--translating abstract political messages into campaign logos, direct mail, canvassing literature, print and online ads and other creative products.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative designer who can work on multiple accounts to produce and edit clean and exceptional designs under tight deadlines. In addition to on-going client work, the designer will be a go-to in-house creative resource, from designing internal proposals to formatting client case studies.

Applicants should ideally possess:

• Up to 2 years of experience
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Illustrator 
  and Photoshop)
• Knowledge of Powerpoint
• Excellent typography sense
• Strong attention for detail
• Skills with photo manipulation and retouching
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute projects while maintaining tight deadlines and quick turnarounds.
• Able to implement consistent brand/visual elements across a campaign to create organized layouts.

• Willingness to work long hours and weekends during peak periods (depending on the year, March to the end of October)

Term:

• Through November 2016 with possibility of becoming permanent
