    PBS NewsHour is seeking a skilled video animator capable of capturing and communicating complex ideas about news, politics and economics to a mass audience in a visually compelling way. These animations will be published on various social media and broadcast platforms. Primary responsibilities include collaborating with a wide variety of producers and reporters to identify content to turn into 2D animations, as well as, creating graphics and animation using computer programs and illustrations. Bachelor’s degree in animation, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience producing animation for online video is desired. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple priorities simultaneously is a plus.
