DESCRIPTION:  The Audience Development and Social Content Producer reports to the senior management team of MASTERPIECE, and is expected to be an aggressive, articulate contributor to the growth of MASTERPIECE in the digital space. The person in this position will be charged with creating and communicating a digital and social marketing strategy for PBS's premiere drama brand, and ensuring its prominence in existing and emerging social media platforms.  

This position is responsible for developing a digital marketing strategy to build a community of fans, creating content in collaboration with the MASTERPIECE team, and executing a social plan on a daily basis, including creating content and posting on such platforms as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This person must be data driven, and have a strong track record of monitoring and analyzing performance across social digital channels with demonstrated success in communicating relevant trends to management.

MASTERPIECE is a standard bearer and internationally recognized co-producer of high-quality drama with top-tier UK producers. An award-winning showcase in the US for the UK creators of drama: writers, directors, actors, producers, etc., our job is to ensure the vitality and top-of-mind presence for their work.

The main goal of this job is to cultivate and sustain the series' various constituent audiences. Working in the MASTERPIECE unit and in close concert with the National Marketing and digital teams, this position is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing initiatives in all platforms: social, digital, e-mail and OTT.

A critical component of this job is to use the abundance of data to constantly survey and provide analysis of the status of our position in the digital space and have the ability to nimbly respond and adjust strategy.
