Managing Editor
Yahoo finance is looking for a dynamic leader to head a new content platform targeting a young audience interested in consuming informative, vibrant, value-added, high-utility information.

The content will be primarily video-first and strongly pointed to mobile. As such the prospective hire needs to be steeped in the latest video and mobile content creation skills and tools and well versed in best practice digital distribution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred 
• 3-5 years of industry related work experience required
• Strong editorial and management skills are a must, as the candidate must be able to design a content creation program and lead a team to execute that strategy
• A deep understanding of personal finance and/or investing content, particularly as it pertains to millennials and all the of the new platforms, services and companies pointed to them such as Venmo, Wealthfront, Betterment, Learnvest, NerdWallet and Robinhood etc.
• Candidate should also have deep experience in off-network, and/or social media distribution, which will be a critical channel for consumption of this content

Strong communication skills and ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams is a must
