    FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT:                                                                               

    The Department of Journalism and the Writing Professions at Baruch College is seeking an audio journalist to fill a tenure-track position. The preferred candidate will have broad experience in radio and podcasting and some engagement with the growing audio field of storytelling, either fiction or nonfiction, as well as as a Master's degree. Expertise in covering the arts and culture as well as business journalism is essential. Fluency is one or more languages is a plus, given the department's growing interest in international journalism. In addition to the above, s/he will have worked in a traditional newsroom environment and will have experience in teaching courses in print journalism.

    QUALIFICATIONS:                                                                                           

    Master's degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
