    PBS NewsHour is seeking an enthusiastic individual who will serve as an integral member of the PBS NewsHour’s National Affairs coverage team. The Reporter Producer will research and produce day-of-air and forward-planned segments on a variety of subjects, primarily business, economics, education, health, science, technology, sports, and entertainment in close coordination with the PBS NewsHour’s team of on-air correspondents and anchors.  Additionally, this individual will produce tape packages periodically, closely cover education policy and develop relationships with sources, and conceive and develop pitches for segments that include a detailed explanation of the story.  Minimum of two (2) years experience working in journalism, preferably for a national outlet. Reporting or blogging experience required.
