Producer, Foreign Affairs

    PBS NewsHour is looking to hire a Foreign Affairs Producer. In this position, you will produce foreign news related segments for the PBS NewsHour broadcast and website. You will participate in senior strategic planning for all foreign coverage in addition to pitching, developing and producing stories. You must be experienced in producing network quality stories for day of and longer form magazine-style features, which includes shooting and editing. You must also be able to work independently in a fast-paced newsroom setting and adjust smoothly to changing assignments with deadline pressures. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, international affairs or other related field.  Minimum four (4) years’ experience in broadcast and/or digital journalism, to include high quality video production and experience covering foreign affairs or equivalent combination of education and experience.
