Position: Associate Producer - Permalance
Duration: 24-26 weeks 2018
Location: NYC (working remotely is not an option for this role)

National media company seeks organized, professional associate producer to support small team that produces a weekly live show focused on news, politics, the economy, personal finance and sports. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable working under pressure in a very active production environment. AP will be expected to work closely with editors-in-chief, senior video producers, talent, and editor. Duties will include ensuring the seamless execution of weekly show deliverables to live studio, rundown distribution, scripting, fact checking, story research, pre-interviewing guests, cutting b-roll, "radio cut" editing, filming interview stand ups, procuring b-roll and photo assets, and overseeing support staff.

Must start ASAP. Must be fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro. Comfortable filming in the field with Canon C100 / C300 Mark II. Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism or equivalent required. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Bonus: Photoshop skills, a familiarity with Adobe After Effects CC, and a good sense of humor.
