PBS NewsHour has an opportunity for an Associate Producer, Broadcast. This role is primarily responsible for helping to oversee the daily script for the PBS NewsHour and managing the News Assistant program. Responsibilities include writing/editing, copying and coordination with graphics and digital for show bumpers. The Associate Producer, Broadcast will also track timing of the show segments, assist and fill in for the Senior Broadcast Producer as needed, make editorial recommendations and produce stories for broadcast and digital among other responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree and two (2) or more years’ experience in daily broadcast journalism, preferably for a national news outlet or equivalent combination of education and experience.
